A Lab on Fire Messy Sexy Just Rolled out of Bed

The founder of the brand, Carlos Kusubayashi, wanted to create a fragrance that expresses the awakening of the senses after a passionate night. Inspired by Douglas Kirkland's 1961 photographs of Marilyn Monroe in bed.


According to Kusubayashi, the light and atmosphere in these photographs show the intimacy of the famous actress, reflecting the quintessence of sexuality.


The perfume was created by perfumer Dominique Ropion, who tried to capture these images in the bottle.


Top notes of bergamot and peach blossom blend with a heart of Turkish rose and heliotrope.


The warm, oriental and sweet base comes from musk, cashmere, orris, amber, vanilla and tonka bean.


There are also hints of a berry, fruity topping with a milky angel food cake base scent.
